Three Generations. Three Areas of Expertise. One Powerful Conversation.

V Architecture is proud to highlight the recent leadership of one of our designers and Project Managers, Anaida Ríos Ramón, who co-led and co-hosted Session #4 of the Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program (CKLDP)—titled Rainmaking & Business Development—alongside Kimberly Galán.

The session brought together three generations and three distinct areas of expertise in a thoughtful and forward-looking discussion. Panelists included Arch. José Rodríguez Barceló of V Architecture and his son, Arch. Guillermo Rodríguez Archilla of Casa Rodar—illustrating the power of mentorship, legacy, and shared vision across time.

Joining them was Vanessa de Mari Monserrate, AIA, MCM of Interlink—part of our extended professional family—whose participation underscored the strength of long-term collaboration. Additional contributors, including Ana María Cintrón Marazzi of Causa Local, Giancarlo Cajigas, AIT of Integra, Adriana Cañellas Morini of Modo de Vida, and Jean Cintrón of Atelier JC, provided valuable insights into business development topics, such as proposals, negotiations, and financial planning.

Hosted at the Popular Center, the event delivered practical tools and perspective to CKLDP participants, aligning with the program’s mission to prepare emerging leaders in architecture.

This session continues V Architecture’s strong involvement with CKLDP. In 2024, V’s Frances David Vega co-led Session #7: Redefining Practice, alongside architect Ángel Pomales. Their session focused on broadening the role of architects and embracing strategic approaches to growth.

The firm was also well represented in the 2023–2024 CKLDP cohort with team members Jorge Rivera, Frances David Vega, and Miraida Rodríguez. As part of her contribution, Miraida produced a video exploring civic and community engagement, which included an interview with Ilia Ríos, president of V Architecture. This project reflected the firm’s broader commitment to purpose-driven leadership and public impact.

Several V Architecture team members have also participated in past CKLDP classes, including Adriana Ostolaza, Edgardo Vela, Edwin A. De la Cruz, Joan Monge, and Kish Báez—a continued demonstration of the firm’s dedication to fostering leadership at every level.

V Architecture remains committed to supporting programs like CKLDP, which play a key role in developing the next generation of professionals. Through active participation, collaboration, and mentorship, we help cultivate architects who are equipped to lead with purpose and shape the future of the profession.
