15 Nov Greenbuild 2024: A Year of Innovation and Inspiration

V Architecture recently had the privilege of attending the Greenbuild International Conference and Expo 2024 in Philadelphia. Greenbuild is an annual event designed to keep participants at the forefront of the industry, covering sustainability, resilience, health, and wellness in the spaces where we live, work, learn, and play. Our own V President, Ilia Ríos, represented the firm and was on hand to absorb the event’s insights.

This year, Greenbuild was dedicated to scaling up sustainability through four days packed with innovative ideas, impactful strategies, and meaningful connections. The host city has radically transformed since our last visit to Philadelphia in 2013. New skyscrapers, LEED-certified buildings, and sustainable housing developments now dot the skyline. The city’s commitment to sustainability is evident in its recent achievement of LEED for Cities and Communities Platinum certification, recognizing its efforts to improve the quality of life for its residents.

Greenbuild 2024 was no exception to previous years, offering a unique opportunity to connect with industry leaders, exchange ideas, and explore innovative solutions. From thought-provoking sessions to dynamic discussions, the conference fostered collaboration and inspired action. The energy was tangible, and our team was excited to be part of an essential global community committed to a greener earth.
