16 Dec A Green Design Experience at El Meson Caguas
Join us in congratulating our friends and partners at El Meson Sandwiches for the recent inauguration of their Caguas location, which was recently featured in the Business Section of El Nuevo Día.
The V Architecture design team worked alongside El Meson to create a sleek and inviting setting, filled with natural light and designed with a distinctive eco-friendly approach. The 3,200 sq ft facility features a series of green-minded design elements, in adherence to the client’s wish to respect and honor the environment through their operations. This new location helps set in motion a new trend of plastic-free restaurants across El Meson locations in Puerto Rico and the US.
“We applied green building practices at every step of this project, to help our client fulfill his forward-thinking vision and setting a high bar in sustainable design in an unlikely industry. As our friend Felipe Pérez stated, we hope all fast-food restaurants take a page from their example.”
V Architecture was especially excited to partner with such an environmentally-conscious brand, and we were eager to flex our green muscle when it came to its finishes and technology. The fixtures used throughout help to reduce their footprint, while combining beautiful, modern and timeless aesthetics. As V Architecture President Ilia Ríos explained, “we applied green building practices at every step of this project, to help our client fulfill his forward-thinking vision and setting a high bar in sustainable design in an unlikely industry. As our friend Felipe Pérez stated, we hope all fast-food restaurants take a page from their example.”
