17 May V Architecture Continues to Elevate the Fast-Casual Dining Experience
At V Architecture, we take pride in our collaborations, and we are thrilled to announce our partnership with Q Puerto Rico Franchise, LLC, the proud franchise owners of QDOBA MEXICAN EATS in Puerto Rico. Together, we are embarking on an exciting journey to design several locations for the fast-casual restaurant branch that will roll out throughout Puerto Rico.
Celebrating the success of the soft opening of the second QDOBA on the island in Royal Town, “Guayamon” were franchise owners Sammy Jové, Nilka Jové, and Luis Miguel Jové along with V Architecture President Ilia Ríos, Senior Designer Rafael Lugo, and Project Manager Edgardo Vela.
Q Puerto Rico Franchise, LLC opened its first Qdoba location in 2022 at Guaynabo’s San Patricio Village, a complete fit-out remodeling of an existing 3,500 sq/ft restaurant building transformed into the franchise brand. At V Architecture, we were tasked to develop an innovative pad site prototype explicitly designed to be used across diverse locations on the island, including Bayamon, Caguas, and Ponce.
Our team has meticulously crafted a 3,200 sq/ft standalone prototype concept designed to seat up to 74 indoor and outdoor customers, seamlessly integrating the latest trends in the fast-casual industry. Our design philosophy for the franchise prototypes revolves around creating an open-space dining concept to elevate the overall dining experience for patrons. Upon stepping into the restaurant, guests will immediately feel the inviting atmosphere characterized by the high open ceilings, warm wooden tones, vibrant walls, tasteful tile accents, and art strategically placed throughout the establishment. The central showcase of our design is the open kitchen concept, which serves as the focal point, embodying the brand’s essence. We collaborate closely to integrate brand standards and equipment into our design, ensuring a harmonious blend that enhances aesthetics and operational effectiveness.
