AC Hotel San Juan by Marriott

The AC Hotel San Juan by Marriott (located at 86 Ashford Avenue in the Condado tourist district of San Juan, Puerto Rico) is a conversion from an older hotel (under different hospitality flags).

The upgraded facilities feature 233 guest rooms, the signature AC Hotel Bar, a breakfast lounge on the 9th floor with ocean and city views, a rooftop terrace with an expanded pool, and other guest amenities. It also includes a local, upscale bakery and tapas restaurant with sidewalk patios that landmark the corner where it is located as a gateway to a very distinct portion of the Condado district.

The 145,000 sq ft building was completely renovated to meet the AC Hotel standards in collaboration with interior designers, sculptors, and artists, both local and international, to create a harmonious, discerning, and modern atmosphere that offers its guests an oasis from the city’s hustle and bustle. The renovation project was designed with sustainability and efficiency in mind, earning a Green Permit, while meeting its original budget of $22.3MM.
