KISH “IMMANUEL” BÁEZ COTTO

Assoc. AIA

DESIGN MANAGER

Kish joined our Team in late 2017 right after the Hurricanes Irma and María came through Puerto Rico.  His first assigned task was to assist in damage inspections to residential and commercial buildings across the island. This project was part of the firm’s effort to assist the island’s much-needed recovery as well as providing work to more than twenty architects that joined our firm for this special task.  In addition, Kish spent most of his free time helping rebuild far-off countryside communities that had no essential utilities with a machete and a coffee in hand.

Kish started working in design and architectural studies since he was a student in 2014 acquiring an array of skills that make him able to work on a range of projects from concept design to construction work.  He also has extensive experience in graphic and photo manipulation, model development, and construction document production through Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.  At our firm, Kish consistently creates, enhances, and improves ideas to solve everyday problems through design and production.

With a vision for design and an eye for detail, Kish Báez became the Founder and Creative Director of Barkito de Papel, a graphic design business that offers branding, logo design, consulting, and social media management services to small businesses as a way to find, build or transform their brand identity in order to transition to a virtual environment during the COVID-19 pandemic crisis.
