ADOLFO NORCISA LÓPEZ

PROJECT & CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Adolfo has nearly 16 years of experience in the architectural field and has collaborated in a variety of projects where he has been in contact with a broad spectrum of disciplines within architecture.  These include collaborating in the design process, solicitation of government agencies’ endorsements, development of construction drawings and the coordination between clients, the architectural design process and the engineering consultants for an apartment complex, park facilities and public schools.

Throughout his years, Adolfo received valuable experience working and directing a team effort and developing organizational and communication skills that are key factors in the satisfactory outcome of complex projects.  This expertise has proven valuable in recent experiences within V Architecture, such as assisting with administration details for Dorado Health Center and as a project manager for a COSSMA clinic in San Lorenzo.

Adolfo has a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Design and a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Puerto Rico, graduating with a Magna Cum Laude which made him recipient of the Colegio de Arquitectos y Arquitectos Paisajistas de Puerto Rico Medal for Academic Excellence, as well as the AIA Henry Adams School Medal Certificate of Merit for Excellence in the Study of Architecture for that year. He also studied for two years at the School of
Agriculture’s Landscape Program in Purdue University, Lafayette, Indiana.​ Subsequently, he was invited to publish an article on his Master’s theses in Patrimonio / Official magazine of the Puerto Rico State Preservation Office. (Volume 3: San Juan, Puerto Rico, 2011) with the title “Absolución Antillana al Ornamento”​.
