San Juan Bayside Mixed Use Development

Designed to maximize a 5.5 acre outparcel of waterfront land in San Juan, this mixed-use development consists of a luxury hotel, high rise residential tower and retail shops. Another project task was the relocation of the existing 146 slips, dry dock storage, repair shop, marina store and a restaurant.

We also included a 1,132 sq ft parking deck under both the residential and hotel towers, as well as a boardwalk to extend into the site, allowing visitors to walk to the lighthouse and enjoy the waterfront view. In keeping with the municipality’s environmental sustainability initiatives, a portion of the existing mangroves were programmed to be transplanted around the boardwalk and act as a natural buffer.
