Shanti is an industrial designer, interior designer, and recently completed a Master in Sustainable Design from Boston Architectural College which provides her a unique design background. She has focused on interior design for the past 10 years with an emphasis on the industrial design aspect of the process. Shanti comes from a woodworking family tradition, which allowed her to collaborate at digital fabrication workshops and develop custom products for a variety of clients. Having the design as well as the fabrication experience, which gives her a design-build perspective to interior design. She is known for creating a healthy balance between the aesthetics and functionality of every project. She has a trained eye for detail and always looks for solutions that are elegantly simple, functional, and sustainable.
Shanti has served as professor of design studies specializing on interior design, drawing and sustainable interiors at the local universities; EDP University, San Juan School of Interior Design, and Escuela de Arquitectura y Diseño UAGM in Gurabo.
